Why We Postpone Happiness: A Deep Dive

A lot of people ask me how I’m always so happy. The simplest answer I can give is that I don’t postpone my happiness. What I mean is, instead of thinking, “I’ll be happy when I get this” or “I’ll be happy when I achieve that,” I focus on finding joy in the present moment, even while working towards my goals.

I know from experience that this is easier said than done. Why?

  1. Negative Mindset: As humans, we naturally tend to lean towards negativity, often leading to a negative mindset.
  2. Societal Conditioning: We’ve been conditioned to believe that happiness is something we should strive for in the future, rather than something we can experience now.
  3. Negative Perceptions of Happiness: The way society views happiness can be quite negative, often leading people to disregard it as unimportant.

Because of these reasons, I’ve decided to create a video series exploring the concept of “Happy Living” in more depth. I believe it will be helpful to many people.

This is the first episode of that series.
